About the role

It's an exciting time to join Senex with the recent announcement that we plan to invest more than A$1 billion in a major expansion of our Atlas and Roma North natural gas assets.

We have a newly created role working across both Finance and Legal where we require someone to take on the role of Insurance Assistant while also acting in a Paralegal role.

In your role as Insurance Assistant, you will support the manager in managing the insurance strategy and portfolio for Senex. You will be aware of all policies, including coverage and expiry dates. As such you will be the main point of contact with the Insurance Broker and the business , dealing with all inquiries. When the Insurance is up for renewal, you will guide the process engaging with all stakeholders and assist with presentations and recommendations.

This role will take about 3 days of your time in the other 2 you will be supporting the Legal Team with their database management, reporting and compliance deadlines and assisting with their invoicing.

About You

You're a master at forging connections and dissecting complex situations. Collaborating within a team and engaging with diverse stakeholders is where you thrive.

Your background in the insurance sector, whether with a broker ,within an insurance company, or law firm, is a significant asset. Should you happen to have some legal experience on top of that, this would be a major plus.

Your strength lies in your impeccable planning and organisational skills, complemented by a proactive mindset and a keen eye for detail. If you thrive in managing multiple tasks while maintaining a sharp focus, you're precisely the candidate we seek.
