What will the role involve?

We are looking for someone to support us with our electrical and machinery needs with an immediate start. To be consider for this role, you must have had industrial maintenance experience and the ability to demonstrate repair and diagnostic skills. It is expected that you will be able to perform the following duties:

  • Develop and maintain PLC, SCADA and HMI Systems
  • Integrate systems into IT network infrastructure
  • Develop and implement solutions to deliver automation to improve production efficiency
  • General property electrics
  • General mechanical fitting
  • Create and maintain a maintenance log for all equipment in conjunction with our maintenance technician
  • Complete preventative maintenance to that log
  • Fault find/diagnose equipment when issues arise
  • Commission new equipment
  • Maintain and source spare parts as required
  • Liase with external contractors and companies where required 
  • Must be able to work unsupervised with minimal direction 
  • Develop manuals for staff with training on the proper and safe use of equipment
  • Research and source alternative and new equipment to achieve the businesses production requirements, as directed.
  • Flexibility in your hours, overtime and hours outside normal business operations (including weekends) may be required to not disrupt production but this also means you get more flexibility with your time during the week.

Qualifications and Experience:

What we are looking for:

  • High level competency with PLC, SCADA and HMI systems
  • Minimum of 2 years' demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Be highly collaborative and a team player
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
