Job Summary:
 

Mechanical design engineer responsible for assisting in developing power electronics hardware for telecom, server and networking application.

Your main role is to:
 

• Materials structure design, custom parts specification define, product assembly define and advice, thermal & acoustic noise plan for automotive product.
• To support all mechanical related activities, including mechanical design, mechanical design verification tests, reliability engineering test support, design review meeting, customer conference call, factory DFM and supplier DFM review and factory build support.
• Basic structure analysis and verify. 
• Product reliability failure mode root cause analysis and solutions.
• Cross function communicate, guideline define, maintain and achieve.
• BOM, design documents, design & cost optimization.

Who are we looking for?
 

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferred Master’s Degree in Mechanical or related field.
• Experienced on die casting part design and casting process for aluminum alloy. 
• Experienced on metal part design and stamping process and deep drawing process for steel and aluminum alloy.
• Experienced on plastic part design and process for injection molding of plastic part. 
• Experienced on heat transfer design approach for power electronic devices or other products. 
• Experienced on IP product design is a plus.

Strong technical background in the field of:

• Professional on 3D and 2D CAD program such as Creo, Solidworks, AutoCAD and others.
• Able to use CAE function for design. Ex. Interference, mechanism and tolerance analysis for assembly feature.
• Able to understand GD&T for design, manufacturing and inspection.
• Knowledge of basic thermal, acoustic noise theory.
• Knowledge of technical issue analyzing, solution and validation.
• Communicate & organize skill
• Verbal and written communications skills in English.
• Able to travel oversees to Europe, China. 
• Professional working attitude, high responsibility and good teamwork, Eager to learn new things & technology: most important.
