Case Manager, Workers Compensation – Parramatta, NSW

As our team to continues to grow, we are looking for a number of Case Managers to join us on our exciting journey. We are recruiting for these roles to be based in our new Parramatta office and commit to a start date of Monday 17 June 2024. These roles will provide the flexibility to work from home 3 days a week.

In this role, you will benefit from a structured 6 week training programme to get you up to speed on all policies and processes before you take on claims. You will then work on a portfolio of claims whereby you will be the first point of contact for our injured workers, helping and supporting them get back to work.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Advising and providing case management support across a range of rehabilitation cases at various stages of their return-to-work journey;
  • Engaging with insured employers, injured employees, rehabilitation professionals, medical practitioners and legal providers in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for all parties;
  • Supporting the physical and psychological needs of our injured workers through the provision of services within our additional mental health, technical and rehabilitation support hubs;
  • Contributing to excellent return to work outcomes and lead the end-to-end claims management life cycle;
  • Coaching and mentoring case managers and collaborating with our additional Mental Health, Recovery and RTW, and Technical support hubs.

Qualifications

About you:

  • Strong customer service experience (you may have experience working in retail, hospitality, administration, call centres etc).
  • The ability to build trust and rapport with customers as well as a true passion to help people.
  • A desire and drive to learn and continuously grow your knowledge in the role.
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating and supporting their peers.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills that can be translated to the driving of a portfolio of claims.
  • The ability to demonstrate resilience and navigate through challenging situations.
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
