As a Credit Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating creditworthiness, assessing risk, and making informed lending decisions. As part of your portfolio, you will be looking after residential, commercial, as well as equipment finance for various business customers. You will work closely with the business customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure prudent financial practices and sustainable growth.
 
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Conducting thorough credit assessments and financial analyses to determine loan eligibility and risk exposure.
  • Evaluating borrower profiles, financial statements, credit reports, and industry trends to assess creditworthiness.
  • Preparing detailed credit proposals and recommendations based on risk analysis and financial metrics.
  • Monitoring credit portfolios, identifying potential risks, and recommending proactive measures to mitigate losses.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
To be considered for this position you will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Credit Analyst or similar role in the financial services industry. Private broking company experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and perform risk assessments.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, credit scoring, and credit risk management techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, friendly, driven individual that loves to smash targets and be rewarded for doing so.
