About the role

We are seeking to fill a pivotal role which includes: 

  • Warehouse Management – Ensure products are received into store and customer orders are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner while maintaining a clean and well organised warehouse.
  • Service Delivery – Provide consistently friendly and professional service to customers via email, telephone and during the occasional delivery of products – setting LEAP apart from other Suppliers.
  • Team Collaboration – While this is a very autonomous role, working constructively and collaboratively alongside your colleagues is also very important.
  • Freight Optimisation - Ensure the best freight rates are used to send out our orders and work with our freight suppliers to provide weekly/monthly delivery performance data to ensure they remain accountable with their delivery promises.
  • OH&S - Ensure Warehouse and work practices comply with all company/legislative policies and procedures.

 

Salary Package

A salary package will be offered based on your experience including base salary plus superannuation, a mobile telephone, and appropriate work attire.

 

Skills and experience

  • A clean driver's license
  • A forklift operator's license
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to work efficiently and follow through effectively on tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Tidy in nature

 

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Manage the daily movement of stocks within the warehouse
  • Entering customer orders, goods received and stock info into accounting system
  • Picking / packing and dispatch of customer orders
  • Receiving and stacking stock on shelves
  • Load / unload of trucks
  • Freight dispatch
  • Stocktake
  • Some administrative tasks including filing of orders and freight management
  • Maintaining a clean and well organised warehouse

Initiative and an autonomous work ethic is important, as well as the ability to work well as part of a team.

We will be looking for someone with a friendly and co-operative nature, as we pride ourselves on providing a warm and welcoming workplace. 

The role is 5 days per week. Working hours are 8am to 4pm.
