We are a well-established Australian owned Freight Forwarding company in business for over 40 years. Handling all aspects of Sea and Air logistics including 3PL, Import and Exports, Customs Clearance and transportation, we cater to a large variety of customers for all their global logistics requirements.

About the role

Due to company growth, we are seeking a dedicated and highly organised Customer Service Specialist to join our friendly team.

The Role
Provide superior customer service to clients. Duties include but not limited to:

  • Monitoring and providing customer service to a broad range of different clients
  • Internal liaison with other departments and providing necessary support
  • Effective communication to respond to customer concerns
  • Find and implement time and cost-effective solutions as issues arise
  • Manage clients' accounts and keep them update to date with their shipment milestones.
  • Managing customer quotations and internal sales activities
  • Quote existing customers for active and non active shipments

The Requirements

  • Superior customer service
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 3 year’s experience in freight forwarding
  • Exposure to working in a team environment
  • Enthusiastic, honest with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work meeting deadlines, autonomously or in a team environment
  • Problem solving skills and a "can do" attitude.
  • Experience with Cargowise CW1 and ICS highly regarded
  • Must have full rights to work in Australia
