Role Overview: Based in Adelaide, this critical role, you will oversee our daily operations while developing new business strategies and enhancing scheduling efficiencies. A significant part of your role will also involve maintaining and optimizing relationships with our customers and external partners, ensuring we meet our standards for quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the daily operations to ensure peak operational performance and meet key performance indicators.
• Develop and refine scheduling systems to maximize efficiency and service delivery across all logistics operations.
• Spearhead business development initiatives, identifying new markets and opportunities to enhance profitability.
• Maintain robust relationships with external service providers, including conducting regular reviews and managing maintenance contracts to ensure service levels are achieved and sustained.
• Ensure strict compliance with both internal policies and external regulations across all operations.
• Analyze operational data to track performance and implement improvements across supply chain processes.
• Provide leadership and development opportunities, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in operations management within the freight and logistics industry, including direct experience with scheduling, business development, and external provider management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively managing relationships with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in logistics scheduling
