The Role

An exciting opportunity has presented for an experienced National Account Manager – Enterprise Sales.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the acquisition and maintenance of a portfolio of large corporate Australian accounts. The role is permanent, full-time, requiring a highly motivated individual who can join Landells Signs and excel from the very start.  Must have demonstrated experience in account management and the ability to acquire the technical signage knowledge to work alongside estimators to be the respected signage solution provider to clients when quoting for jobs.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual KPIs and sales targets
  • Develop an annual strategy in line with corporate budget, and other indicators
  • Win new clients whilst also focusing on repetitive/return clients and accounts
  • Understand the sale methodology to acquire new large accounts
  • Engage with your existing network of potential clients, accessing their key decision makers
  • Rapidly and successfully grow your access to decision makers in target businesses 
  • Prioritize clients to achieve highest sales yield
  • Identify account wide sales potential
  • Develop a detailed tactical account map
  • Create and implement a live Account Acquisition Action Plan and regularly communicate and stress test the plan with colleagues
  • Successfully access multiple business units and functions within the target enterprises to understand the motivators of their purchase decisions to address each factor

Further experience will also include:

Job Profitability 

  • Assisting the Landells Signs Project Managers with client negotiations concentrating on variations and overspends on projects
  • Carry out root cause analysis for overspends and varying other issues/problems on projects
  • Ensuring achievement of sales targets to manage corporate goals
  • Support periodic sales review meetings, reporting on KPIs

Communication & Teamwork

  • Work with the estimators to create price guides and firm quote as required
  • Develop a strong effective working relationship with the Landells Signs Project Managers
  • Effectively manage conflict with clients to ensure resolution is reached with minimum disruption
  • Effective and timely communication with clients to ensure they are kept in the loop

Management Skills

  • Develop strong positive relations with all stakeholders ensuring open lines of communication
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities by leading by example, displaying good judgement, conflict resolution and nurturing a positive team environment

Job Management & Administration

  • Maintaining the ERP system, flagging introductions and selling tasks completed
  • Manage the electronic and paper filing system
  • Promptly record all work related expenditure
  • Ensure official purchase orders accompany all purchases
  • Provide a reasonable level of assistance to the Landells Signs Project Manager team
  • Assist the Finance team with client contacts for any outstanding accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 8 years sales experience 
  • At least 3 years demonstrated consistent success in corporate sales winning large new client accounts
  • Having Good business network of individuals, clients and corporates
  • Experience working with project managers and/or engineers
  • Sales Skills in sales frameworks such as Target Acquisition Selling (Miller-Heiman) and SPIN
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Experience using an ERP system like MYOB 
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Experience in estimating is an advantage
