The Position

Working from the Brisbane Head Office, located near the Port of Brisbane and reporting directly into the Managing Director you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain operations for a number of long-standing clients.

They are looking to employ an experienced Logistics Specialist that has documented experience working within the project logistics space.

On an average day you will:

• Monitor freight operations for customers
• Manage Customs, Fumigation and Quarantine processes with the correct departments
• Create solutions for customers' needs
• Report back to Senior Management at the Head Office

You would be primarily focussed on supplying project logistics solutions and services to companies within the heavy industry market in Australia.

The Package

• A salary of up to $90k pa

The Candidate

This job would suit a candidate that has had recent experience working in the Operations Team of an international freight forwarding company and dealing with both Imports and Exports.

The ideal candidate will also have the following attributes:

• Experience in both air and sea freight
• Experience in 3PL (third party logistics)
• An understanding and experience in customs clearance
• Experience working with OOG, Project and Oversized Freight
• Be able to operate autonomously
