THE ROLE:
This role is critical to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services for TVSN. Responsible for conducting the new product first piece inspection process (ensure compliance to legislation / regulatory affairs) across product lines including but not limited to Beauty, Health and Personal Care.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBILE FOR BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Conduct new product first piece inspection to ensure all relevant product information if captured and accurately recorded to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.
- Provide assistant and support to the Quality & Compliance Manager.
- Undertake product re-work processes
- Review a number of live TV programs/advertising materials to ensure compliance with approved product claims
- Complete product reporting post assessment
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE:
Key criteria
- Proven experience in same and/or similar role
- Working knowledge of AICIS (Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme) and Australia Industrial Chemical legislation
- AICC (Australian Inventory of Industrial Chemicals (Inventory) seaches
- Categorising new chemical introductions
- PIDs (Post Induction Declarations) and PIRs (Pre-Introduction Reports)
- Record keeping requirement together with an analytical and creative mind
- Knowledge of quality principles, methodologies and tools
- An analytical and creative mind
- Outstanding communication skills, working with internal and external stakeholders
- A highly organised, detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision
Preferred Experience
- Cosmetic regulation (labelling, poison standard, industrial chemical legislation, Australian consumer law
Advantageous Skills
- Consumer product regulation (Australian consumer law, mandatory standards, prohibited products).
- Therapeutic goods advertising review.
- Working knowledge of FSANZ.
- Familiarity with requirements of electrical goods.

Whilst the title refers to quality and compliance, the role is largely regulatory. It offers a candidate with a little experience the opportunity to learn a range of new skills as the products we distribute are varied. Experienced candidates are preferred but we are willing to be flexible in this market. It is important that you have experience with AICIS but may come from a cosmetic, industrial chemical or raw material background.
A self-starter, able to priority, follow direction, and communicate well with non-technical people will do well in this role.
