Position Available: Senior Financial Accountant – Real Estate
  
Are you a seasoned financial professional looking to take the next step in your career?
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join a leading Real Estate firm in Sydney.  In this role, you will play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:
  

• Manage the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct thorough reviews of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolution of discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast and track capital expenditures and incentives, providing insights to support decision-making.
• Monitor income collection and cash flow, identifying opportunities to optimize working capital management.
• Prepare quarterly financial reports and provide support for various regulatory reporting requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and support the tax function as needed.
• Identify process improvements and efficiencies to enhance financial operations.
• Support treasury activities by assisting in cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.

Qualifications:

• 2-3+ years’ experience in property accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA/CA Qualified
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and forecasting.
• Experience with ERP systems desirable.
• Big 4/Mid-tier background is a plus!
