HVAC Technician

APAC FM have been briefed to source a HVAC Technician for a leading Electrical & HVAC company to work on their ‘platinum client accounts’ throughout Mackay. 
 
Due to the sustained growth they are looking to enhance their team in QLD.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform maintenance, repair, and installation tasks using technical expertise and prescribed company procedures and standards.  
• Adhere to the Maintenance Schedule for planned activities and coordinate unplanned maintenance with the Supervisor to ensure timely completion.  
• Resolve system faults and breakdowns promptly and professionally. Complete designated installation projects according to contract specifications and timelines.  
• Conduct all work in alignment with standards and Company Policy.  
• Prioritize Zero Harm Safety management among field staff to foster behaviors conducive to achieving safety goals.  
• Establish consistent operational processes across teams to maintain and achieve objectives related to safety, customer satisfaction, compliance, finances, and staff development.  
• Collaborate with other business functions (Projects, Business Development, Administration, and Scheduling) to fulfil overall business objectives. 

Qualifications: 

• 5+ years post-apprenticeship experience within commercial or industrial projects and/or maintenance settings.  
• Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration. 
• Restricted Electrical work licence. 
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and report generation. 
• Proficient time management and scheduling capabilities. 
• Adept at interpreting technical drawings and specifications. 
• Willingness to travel within the region.
