As a Support Worker, you will support our clients to live their best lives by assisting them with duties and tasks that allows them to navigate their lives and access critical services and supports.

A Support Workers’ Day can involve:

  • Domestic duties: Cleaning, laundry, food prep, and shopping.
  • Personal care: Assistance with bathing, grooming, mobility, and more.
  • Social support: Encouraging community engagement and companionship.
  • Transport: Assisting clients to attend appointments and activities.

Please note, this is a Causal Position.

About You:

  • Work Schedule: hours depending on need.
  • Genuine passion for quality disability support.
  • Reliability, independence, and attention to detail.
  • Good physical health for various tasks.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices, especially manual handling or willing to be trained.
  • Strong communication skills with diverse backgrounds.
  • Previous NDIS or similar experience (preferred) or willing to be trained.
  • Background in health, disability, or community services (desirable).
  • Competency in manual handling techniques. 
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude.
  • Understanding of workplace requirements.
  • Understanding of disability and the issues they face.
  • Computer skills in word, excel, and database entry.

To be considered you must...

  • Have full working rights in Australia 
  • Have a current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
  • Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
